Proof That KOOLriculum Works!

The findings show that there were four variables that had significant correlations with how participants felt about if they were taught their hardest subject using Koolriculum.  First, for male participants, there was a significant correlation (r=.89) between if Koolriculum made the lesson more interesting and how they felt about using Koolriculum when learning their hardest subject. Male participants suggested, Koolriculum would make the harder classes more interesting. For the female participants, there was a significant positive correlation (r=.89) between understanding the lesson and how they felt about using Koolriculum when learning their hardest subject. Female participants felt that if Koolriculumwas used with their hardest subject they would understand the subject better. For the overall sample and male participants, there was a significant positive correlation (r=.74, r=.81) between the Koolriculum video being easy to understand and better understanding their hardest subject using Koolriculum. Lastly, for male participants there was a significant positive correlation(r=.80) between the video being fun and the video helping to understand harder subjects. This suggests that, for the male participants, those harder subjects would be more enjoyable and engaging if Koolriculum was used. One participant that stated that Math was their least favorite subject made the comment: “Very attractive video. Made me want to watch it again.” Based on these results, Koolriculum could serve as a supplemental tool in classrooms to help engage students.
